Editorial Standards and Corrections

Reviewed 23 August 2026

These standards explain how SocialMediaSir plans, checks, publishes, and corrects its original beginner learning material.

What we publish

SocialMediaSir publishes free, self-directed workplace learning for beginners. Each course follows a defined syllabus and moves from recognition and guided application to realistic workplace decisions and an independent mastery check.

How a chapter is built

A chapter starts with a workplace capability and observable learning objectives. Its four practice sets then preserve the teaching order: a quick check, guided application, a workplace task, and an independent mastery check. Examples use fictional organizations, synthetic data, and clearly stated assumptions so learners can focus on the skill without exposing real personal or employer information.

Accuracy and review

Content is checked for syllabus alignment, stable routes, consistent terminology, answerability, accessibility, and the expected activity sequence. Calculations, spreadsheet targets, SQL results, scoring, and catalog relationships also pass automated validation before a release is considered complete. Technology behavior and safety-sensitive guidance can change, so important operational work should still be verified against current authoritative sources and organizational policy.

Software-assisted drafting

Software-assisted drafting may support planning, examples, editing, and validation. SocialMediaSir remains responsible for what it publishes. Material is not presented as professional advice, accredited instruction, vendor certification, or an endorsement by a named product or standards organization.

Corrections and material changes

Clear factual, calculation, accessibility, or wording issues should be reported with the page address and a short explanation. Published activity identities are kept stable; a grading change that can alter whether an earlier response passes requires an explicit revision review rather than a silent replacement.
